**From the Lab to the Clinic**
The UCSF NF Center pairs clinical care with an active translational and outcomes research program, so discoveries move toward patients rather than staying in the lab.
**Translational Therapeutics**
Led by Dr. Harish Vasudevan, the Center's Translational Research Director, our research program is advancing fundamental knowledge about NF and SWN. We are also home to the DHART SPORE, the only SPORE focused on the NF1 gene, and a Brain Tumor SPORE.
**Outcomes Research: NF-BEACON**
NF-BEACON is the Center's longitudinal outcomes registry, tracking patients with NF1, NF2-related schwannomatosis, and sporadic schwannomatosis over time to better understand disease course and treatment response.
**Precision Diagnostics**
UCSF500 molecular tumor testing is integrated into clinical care, supporting precise diagnosis and treatment planning
